A prestigious California law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Secretary to join their dynamic team in the San Diego office. This role involves supporting 6 litigation attorneys, with a requirement to be in-office at least 4 days per week. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and skilled in e-filing for both state and federal courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- E-Filing: Proficient in e-filing for state and federal courts, ensuring all documents are filed accurately and timely.
- Litigation Support: Possess strong civil litigation skills, particularly in defense (commercial litigation), and the confidence to handle cases from start to finish.
- Document Management: Expertly use iManage to manage and organize legal documents and create TOA's/TOC's efficiently.
- Billing and Expenses: Accurately enter attorney time and expenses in InTapp and manage reimbursements through Chrome River (training provided).
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of civil litigation experience, with a robust understanding of state and federal court procedures.
- Demonstrated ability to e-file in state courts; federal court e-filing experience is preferred.
- Strong litigation skills, with an emphasis on civil defense litigation.
- Proficiency in using legal software such as iManage, InTapp, and Chrome River.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- A team-player who can effectively collaborate with attorneys and staff.

- Competitive base salar: $80-95k, DOE.
