Structural Project Manager - Bridges
What You Will Do:
- As a structural project manager, you will play a lead role in bridge design and load rating or other structural design for a wide variety of clients including cities, counties, state, and private entities.
- You will use innovative approaches to provide our clients with efficient designs focused on quality.
- You will use your project management skills to plan, direct, track, and coordinate all project activities on multiple small to large sized projects to ensure that projects are accomplished within prescribed time frames and budgets.
- Bridge safety inspections may be included in your responsibilities.
- While bridge projects are expected to make up the majority of your work, you will also be required to provide structural design, analysis, and project management for retaining walls, buildings and other vertical structures, and hydraulic structures such as clarifiers, tanks, dam, and weirs.
- You will also identify new projects, formulate approach to projects and lead the proposal process to market to and secure work from new and existing clients.
- Your experience level will determine the amount of independent judgment granted, the complexity of tasks performed, and direct supervision received.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited engineering school and a minimum of ten years work experience of bridge and related structural design.
- Registration as a Professional Engineer in the State of Oklahoma, State of Texax, or ability to get licensed by comity is required.
- Candidate should be familiar with LRFD design procedures, bridge design software, calculation software such as Microsoft Excel or MathCAD, and have proven project management experience.
- Excellent technical, communication and organizational skills are required. Certification as a Bridge Safety Inspection Team Leader preferred but not required.
- Ability and willing to travel to Oklahoma as needed for Structural Design projects.
