Our client, a company that distributes shipping, packaging, and industrial supplies to businesses in North America, is looking for a Java Software Developer to join their team on a in Pleasant Prairie, WI OR Waukegan, IL.
**This is a full time direct hire position**
A proven industry leader running one of the largest eCommerce sites in the country is looking to add a new Java Software Developer to their passionate team of employees located in both Wisconsin and Illinois suburbs.
Responsibilities
- Software developers will have the opportunity to design, develop, test, deploy, support, and maintain comprehensive Java applications
- Project plans will be assisted, and architectural designs will be reviewed, allowing lots of room for mentorship opportunities.
- Developers will utilize their knowledge of Java Spring boot with Angular to create microservices and REST APIs operating consistently with SQL databases.
Skills:
- Angular, Javascript, HTLM, Java (need 4-6 years).
- Prospect to customer they will be looking for someone in the middle of a team that is 13 people. They are working on modernizing their tech stack with to Microservices.
- DB2 ideally, and NOSQL Databases.
- Full Stack is preferred
- Strong fundamentals and are willing to teach people Angular or certain syntax
- Want Spring Boot Microservices experience.
- OOP languages is highly valued. Moving towards service oriented architecture away from the AS400.
- These are internal applications focused on order-based systems.
