We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Fire Protection Engineer to join our client's world leading FP team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of fire protection systems for a variety of projects across multiple industries. This role involves ensuring compliance with fire safety codes and standards, conducting risk assessments, and providing technical guidance throughout all project phases.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, suppression systems, and smoke control.
- Ensure compliance with relevant fire codes, standards (NFPA), and local building regulations.
- Perform fire risk assessments and hazard analyses for new and existing facilities.
- Develop detailed technical drawings, specifications, and design documents using CAD software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate fire protection systems into building designs.
- Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning of fire protection systems.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure the performance and effectiveness of fire protection systems.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies related to fire protection.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in fire protection design and engineering.
- Familiarity with NFPA standards and building codes.
- Proficiency in CAD software and fire protection design tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess risk and provide effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
