Your Responsibilities
- Bridge Design and Specification Review: Analyze detailed bridge design plans, engineering specifications, and blueprints to accurately determine the scope, material needs, and labor requirements for steel bridge projects.
- Accurate Cost Estimation: Develop comprehensive cost estimates for steel bridge construction, including materials, fabrication, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs, ensuring all aspects are thoroughly considered.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Coordination: Source and evaluate quotes from steel suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors specialized in bridge construction to secure the best pricing and solutions, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with civil engineers, project managers, and other stakeholders to provide detailed bids, manage project changes, and address technical and logistical challenges.
- Risk Assessment and Market Analysis: Continuously assess project risks, stay informed about industry trends, and monitor material cost fluctuations to refine estimates and ensure competitive, realistic project bids.
