Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented File Clerk to assist with organizing and relocating physical and digital files, for a temporary, project basis for 12-15 weeks. This role will primarily involve sorting, packing, transporting, and arranging documents from one location to another. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and be able to follow detailed instructions.
Responsibilities:
- Sort and organize physical files and documents for relocation.
- Pack and unpack documents in a systematic manner.
- Safely transport boxes and files between designated locations.
- Label, categorize, and arrange files in their new location.
- Assist in scanning, digitizing, and archiving documents as needed.
- Ensure that all documents are handled with care and confidentiality.
- Work with team members to complete tasks efficiently within the designated time frame.
- Follow all safety protocols when handling and moving files.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not required.
- Comfortable working in an office or storage facility environment.
