LHH Recruitment Solutions has a Senior Electrical Engineer opening for our client in the Boston, MA area. This direct hire role focuses on management of several projects including project leadership, planning, designing and post design for a broad spectrum of facilities projects including but not limited to transit terminals, maintenance facilities, municipalities buildings, public work facilities, correctional facilities, educational surroundings and commercial settings.
PE IS REQUIRED. Successful candidates will also have a minimum 10 years’ experience in completing multiple MEP projects that include design creation, budgeting, and report creation and delivery. Proven experience in having a high proficiency in Arc Flash Analysis. Revit and AutoCAD proven proficiencies, compiling reporting and data, and experience in writing proposals also required. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience with a BS in Electrical Engineering.
Salary range: $130,000 to $170,000 DOE.
Responsibilities:
Consistent means to acknowledge and improve processes and systems.
Accountable for creation, development, production of and testing measures of electrical systems.
Design, implement and budget for projects and system improvements.
Communicate thoroughly, on time, and in full to management to represent the organization professionally.
Develop designs utilizing Revit and/or AutoCAD.
Design systems for power, lighting, and fire alarm systems.
Define and set priorities and duties for team implementation.
Specify and size electrical equipment, systems, etc.
Perform load calculations as needed.
Short circuit analysis
Protective device coordination studies
Arc Flash Analysis
Utilization of Micro Office Suite for reporting
Development of proposals
Mentoring
Assist other engineers on projects as needed.
Requirements:
- degree in Electrical Engineering
