Job Title: Computer Operator
Location: Rock Hill, SC
Contract length: 4-month c2h
First Shift: Wednesday – Saturday
Compensation: 25-30/hour - depending on experience
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum of 3 years as a Computer Operator
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Job / Batch scheduling applications, preferably BMC Control-M
- Minimum of 1-3 years in a data center operations center and NOC environment
- Ability to work 1st Shift Wednesday-Saturday
- Ability to work some Holidays with OT pay
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Experience with Control-M, CA, CA 7 (batch tools)
- Understanding of Iron Mountain's vaulting system
Job Description
An employer is looking for a Computer Operator for a large retail client in the Rock Hill, SC area. The ideal resource will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Computer Operator. This resource will be responsible for the administration and oversight of the 24/7 batch processing schedule. This resource will maintain production job schedules in the BMC Control-M job scheduling system and identify failures using documented processes and troubleshoot or escalate accordingly.
