Tier 2 NOC Technician
We’re seeking a skilled Tier 2 NOC Technician to join our Operations and Support team. This role involves providing 24x7x365 support, managing network and infrastructure issues, and working across teams to resolve problems within SLAs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor systems and network performance.
- Troubleshoot software applications, services, and network issues.
- Conduct Incident Management and reporting.
- Mentor Tier 1 staff and verify their work.
- Write system-specific documentation.
Requirements:
- 3+ years as a system admin, cloud operator, or similar.
- Experience with network troubleshooting and layer 1 equipment.
- Proficiency with Windows/Linux systems, cloud deployments (Virtuozzo, VMware vSphere).
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Ability to work shifts on-site and manage tasks independently.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with VMware, Virtuozzo, Windows Server, and Linux.
- Familiarity with tools like Puppet, Proxmox, Solarwinds, Jira, and more.
