****PROJECT MANAGER****
You will lead the entire life cycle of an Engineering project from inception to closure. The PM will ensure that the project is delivered efficiently and effectively and will remain on time, within budget, and meet all expectations. Location for project is Corpus Christi/Victoria, Texas.
Client will pay for relocation!

RESPONSIBILITES:
• Assists with the management of the full engineering project lifecycle, from initial project planning phases through the completion of construction.
• Participates in meetings with engineers, planners, financial managers, architects, and all other business personnel to establish and maintain project deliverables.
• Coordinates project resources and tracks project progress against established timelines and schedules.
• Facilitates the selection, negotiation, and coordination of the work of vendors, contractors, or sub-contractors,
•Tracks project progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators and prepares and delivers reports as needed.

Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of land development construction, construction materials and detailing.
• Project research and analysis
•Experienced with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, MS Office. ArcGIS skills desirable.
• Skills to implement the integrated services approach. Comprehensive understanding of design, details, and construction drawing preparation including site layout, grading, erosion control and stormwater management.
Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years of increasing engineering experience on complex projects
• Proven experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager building new plants. Green field chemical plant experience is a plus!! Would consider other industries but strong preference for chemical plant!
Salary $170K - $215K

****PROJECT ENGINEER****
You will play a key role in supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects. This position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that all technical aspects of projects are executed efficiently, within budget, and according to established timelines. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise in engineering, and experience in the chemical or energy materials industries.
MUST HAVE: Green Hydrogen Ammonia and/or Lithium-Ion batteries as a must!
Responsibilities:
- Extensive experience with government authorizations and permits, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Hands-on experience managing onsite construction activities (scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation)
- Oversee the technical aspects of assigned projects, including design, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Lead the safety program making recommendations for safety enhancements
- Handle all root cause investigations
- Proven ability to lead and complete complex projects independently
- Strong sense of responsibility and ownership, with the ability to handle pressure, especially under heavy workloads
- Provide hands-on support in solving technical issues as they arise on the construction site.
- Work closely with the Project Manager to align technical project deliverables with the overall business objectives.
- Assist the Project Manager in translating client needs into actionable engineering tasks.
- Quality Control and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to safety standards, engineering codes, and quality requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct regular inspections and address any engineering-related deficiencies.
- Resource and Budget Management to include:
1. Coordinate with technical teams to manage resources, ensuring efficient use of materials and workforce.
2.Provide input on engineering-related budgeting, particularly concerning material costs and labor allocation.
3.Collaboration and Communication:
4.Act as a liaison between engineering teams, contractors, and suppliers to facilitate timely project delivery.
5.Maintain consistent communication with the Project Manager, providing updates on technical progress and resource needs.
PLUS TO HAVE:
- Plus to have track record of managing investment projects valued at $100 million USD or more
- Plus to have strong familiarity with Houston’s local construction resources (suppliers, subcontractors)
- Plus to have experience working with or managing a team from other countries, with an understanding of cross-cultural communication
- Plus to have experience completing projects in small to medium-sized companies
EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- 10 years of experience in the fine chemical industry with solid knowledge of chemical plant processes to include:
*lithium ion batteries
*green hydrogen ammonia
*wind solar energy
QUALIFICATIONS:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
•Proven experience in project engineering, particularly in chemical or energy-related industries.
•Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD) and project management tools.
•Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and address technical issues promptly.
•Excellent communication skills for coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders.
