What you will do
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Manual Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual testing, particularly in testing reporting and web applications. While expertise in manual testing is crucial, knowledge and experience with automation testing are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manual Testing: Plan, design, and execute comprehensive manual testing strategies for reporting and web applications to ensure their quality and reliability.
- Test Case Creation: Develop detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data to cover various testing scenarios.
- Defect Identification: Identify and report software defects, working closely with developers to resolve issues efficiently.
- Regression Testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that new features and enhancements do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Test Documentation: Create and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Automation Integration: Collaborate with the automation testing team to integrate automated tests into the testing process.
- Performance Testing: Participate in performance testing activities to assess system scalability and stability.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Requirements and technical skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in manual testing.
- Strong expertise in testing reporting and web applications.
- Knowledge and experience in automation testing using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
- Proficiency in creating and executing test plans and test cases.
- Familiarity with testing methodologies, test management tools, and defect tracking systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
