Master Planner/Scheduler needed --- Location: Marietta, GA
GeoLogics is partnering with an Aerospace and Defense Company on an exciting Master Planner opportunity in Marietta, GA. This position provides planning/scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements located in multiple locations.
Position: Master Planner
Location: Onsite in Marietta, GA
Pay: $85.00 - $130.00 per hour (DOE--w2 non-benefited)
Contract thru 10/2025 (with probable extension)
Due to the nature of work performed in this facility, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, including proposal schedule development, review/support Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
- Advises the Program Management team when and if a contractual impact is expected or when critical events have happened, including factors which may impact delivery or cost. Ensure Communication and Cross-coordination with IPTs.
- Candidate will have experience utilizing Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis.
- Develop and refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
- Position interacts across a variety of program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management and production.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in a team environment.
- Possess ability to prepare status reports, metrics and make presentations as required.
- Additional responsibilities will be assigned as required.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and have a minimum of 9 years of Program Planning and Scheduling experience (7 years with a master's)
- Experience with Critical Path
- Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool
- Cradle to grave project schedule creation experience required (created new schedule from SOW to completion)
- Must have experience with Microsoft Project
- Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input
- Experience in schedule control processes, internal & external audits, and project management integration
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience working independently across Technical Teams developing a basic level understanding of the technical product
- Experience with Capture, Research & Development, Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions
- Experience with EVM (Earned Value Management)
