Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Interior Designer at KAPPLER in Charlotte, NC. The Senior Interior Designer will be overlooking the full design process, with a focus on space planning and project management. As the Senior Interior Designer, you will oversee a team of Junior Designers, overlooking all phases from design concept, design development, interior design, and FF&E to construction documents. Client relationships are the core of our business, you will be responsible to nurture and built long lasting relationships as the project leader.
Qualifications
- At least 8 years of professional experience in commercial interior design or architecture
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- Keen eye for modern design
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
- Highly organized, ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors
- Great communication skills and ability to create long lasting relationships
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other design software
- Strong portfolio showcasing previous interior design projects
