Our law firm client seeks an experienced Asbestos Attorney, specializing in toxic tort and product liability cases. This role is tailored for a seasoned professional who has demonstrated expertise in handling complex asbestos-related litigation, with a deep understanding of toxic torts, environmental law, and product liability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of asbestos, toxic tort, and product liability cases from inception through resolution, including trial, settlement, and appeal processes.
- Develop and implement sophisticated legal strategies tailored to each case, taking into account the nuanced aspects of asbestos litigation, including scientific and medical evidence.
- Provide compassionate, effective advocacy for clients affected by asbestos exposure, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the legal process.
- Engage in rigorous pre-trial preparation, including discovery, depositions, motions practice, and coordinating with expert witnesses in medical, environmental, and industrial fields.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis on evolving aspects of toxic tort, environmental law, and product liability, incorporating latest judicial precedents and regulatory developments.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the state bar of California.
- Experience in asbestos litigation, including significant experience with toxic tort and product liability cases.
- Proven track record of successful trial experience, with substantial settlements and verdicts in favor of clients exposed to asbestos.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts to clients and juries.
