Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, industry events, and online research
- Generate new business opportunities by engaging with prospects via phone, email, and other communication methods
- Assess and qualify leads to determine their potential fit for our products or services
- Conduct initial outreach and discovery calls to understand prospects' needs and pain points
- Maintain and update lead and opportunity information in the CRM system
- Track and report on key performance metrics, such as lead conversion rates and pipeline progress
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for reaching target markets
- Schedule and coordinate meetings or demos with qualified leads and potential clients
- Provide follow-up communication and support to move prospects through the sales funnel
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales or business development role
- Proven success in B2B sales, particularly in HSEQ, oil & gas, manufacturing, or related fields
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Robust network within target industries is a plus
