Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrical Power Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to join our client. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and implementation of electrical power systems, ensuring they meet regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage projects from concept to completion, and provide technical expertise to support our clients' needs in various sectors, including utilities, industrial, and commercial environments.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus.
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) License in Electrical Engineering is required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical power systems design, preferably in utility, industrial, or Oil and Gas industry.
- Experience with power system modeling and analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, or similar tools.
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.
- Familiarity with National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE standards, and other industry standards.
- Expertise in load flow, short circuit, and protective device coordination studies.
