Neos is seeking an Azure Cloud Solution Architect for a 12-month contract for our client in Austin, TX. This position follows a hybrid schedule and requires you to work twice a week onsite in Austin.
CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Required
4 - 7 years experience:
- Experience designing and implementing Azure cloud computing architecture, cloud deployment models, and workloads.
- Experience designing and implementing Azure cloud security architecture and employing relevant tools.
- Experience designing and implementing Azure networking concepts and security best practices to optimize the protection of cloud infrastructure and data.
- Understanding of business requirements and ability to align Azure cloud solutions with business objectives.
- Experience defining Azure cloud computing vision, strategy, standards, or reference architecture.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple terms to stakeholders and work effectively in a team.
Preferred
2 years experience:
- Experience implementing projects with Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR) Data Center Services (DCS).
- Ability to write scripts in a programming language such as Python, Terraform, or JavaScript to automate cloud deployment and management tasks.
- Experience implementing DevSecOps for Azure.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field.
- At least 1 active cloud certification. Azure Solution Architect Expert is preferred.
