Shift: both day or night shift are OPEN, compressed work week
Day to Day:
As a Safety Technician in an industrial manufacturing setting, you start your day with a team meeting and equipment check. When a hazardous material is reported, you quickly assess, identify, and contain it, coordinating with team members and external agencies. You ensure safety protocols are followed and oversee decontamination. At the end of the day, you review activities, address challenges, and prepare for the next day.
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma (or equivalent)
- 1+ year of Safety / Emergency Response experience including daily safety audits
Plusses:
- Associates in Chemical Engineer/Chemistry/Emergency Management
- HAZMAT / HAZWOPER training
Compensation:
$22hr to $23.50hr
