Position Overview:
The Director, Enterprise Applications will hold the responsibility for developing, implementing, and monitoring a strategic, Enterprise Application support program. The Director, Enterprise Applications will provide the vision and leadership necessary to ensure business alignment for Enterprise Application availability, integrity, and security.
This position reports to the Vice President, Applications.
Performance Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
- As the Director, Enterprise Applications you will lead the team responsible for proactively supporting the operating and project portfolio of Enterprise Applications
- Direct enterprise application development, delivery, and maintenance to ensure high system performance and user satisfaction using a cloud first approach.
- Determine the appropriate schedule and mix of external and internal resources to meet business operations and projects demands
- Direct all activities to support secure reliable integration architecture
- Plan annual budget for data related activities and associated software costs. Manage to budget and accurately track and report variances.
- Negotiate vendor contracts for services and software
- Manage vendor activities related to contracted engagements to ensure quality work delivered on time and within the scope of the contract.
- Establish effective user provisioning processes and access controls, with a focus on compliance and mitigation of risk
- Establishes effective ITIL compliant incident, problem and change management practices and enforces adherence
- Develops and oversees effective disaster recovery plans for Enterprise Applications to align with company business continuity management program goals. This includes establishing and maintaining application runbooks.
- Plan, organize, direct, supervise, and manage the personnel and activities of the team
- Responsible for attracting, developing and retaining an outstanding workforce
- Define and report on Enterprise Application support metrics.
- Provides project management and leadership to staff and external resources in support of established goals and objectives, improved efficiencies, and problem resolution.
- Ensures accomplishment of all objectives in accordance with company policies, procedures, and strategic direction, as well as regulatory standards governing company.
- Maintains current knowledge of industry and regulatory trends and developments for the enterprise technology.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, with degree preferred in Computer Science or Information technology systems security or related field. Advanced degrees preferred
- Minimum of ten (10) years of experience with enterprise business applications and SDLC
- Strong experience leading teams that support and integrate with SAP S/4 HANA preferred
- Experience in working with leaders across functional teams, including HR, Accounting & Finance, Procurement, Engineering, Operations and Maintenance, Commercial Operations and Project Controls, to align technology strategy and roadmaps to business goals
- Experience with defining technical application strategies, including API and integration, with a Cloud first approach
- Experience with managing vendors across various locations and geographies
- Knowledge of Information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) with respect to incident, change and problem administration and information technology governance in a multi- platform environment.
- Strong Emotional Intelligence with demonstrated sustained leadership in a large organization involving multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated management skills, e.g., budget development and administration, policy development and implementation, personnel administration, staff training and development.
