The Collections Administrator is responsible for assisting the Collections Manager with daily accounts receivable (AR) operations within the office. This includes collecting our client's overpayments or duplicate payments to their shipping providers, and ensuring all claims are filed, reconciled, and collected. This role would be interfacing with both the end client and shipping vendors to provide real-time updates on the status of overpayments and where we are in the reconciliation process to recoup funds that are due back to the client.

You Will:
- Review financial data related to overpayments or duplicate payments that have been made to shipping vendors.
- Communicate with the vendors that over payment has been made and facilitate the collection of outstanding freight payment reimbursements
- Utilizing strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills to maintain customer relations and navigate the claims collection process
- Leverage Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to create, update and maintain customer reports and presentations
- Use multiple 3rd party online payment sites to collect information
- Assist with select administrative functions related to different project opportunities
You Have:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret financial data
- The ability to navigate, manage and respond promptly to forty or more daily email communications with multiple clients.
- Exceptional organizational skills
- A positive, solution-oriented approach to dealing with conflicts
- Comfort working under deadlines and completing tasks effectively and on time with the team.
- Ability to multi-task and be flexible
- Strong oral, and written communication and effective listening skills
- Tact, professionalism, a mature demeanor with well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with diverse personalities
- A self-directed, energetic, friendly, and outgoing personality
- An interest in working onsite in the Mount Pleasant office daily, where you would interact with highly collaborative, cross-functional teams.
- Two years of experience in office administration or management (preferred)
- An Associate or Bachelor's Degree or commensurate work experience
