Job Summary
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst oversees the day-to-day technical operations, performance, and management of the Firm’s key accounting systems including Elite 3E, Intapp Time, Chrome River and ARCS3. The Senior Analyst is also responsible for managing system integrations, resolving complex technical issues and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance system functionality and efficiency. The Senior Analyst also leads financial systems projects, coordinates with vendors and supports the month-end close process, ensuring the Firm’s financial system systems operate smoothly and effectively.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for complex technical issues related to the Firm’s financial systems.
- Develop and implement proactive measures to prevent recurring issues, collaborating with the billing, collections, and accounting teams to address root causes and recommend enhancements and modifications that improve processes and user experience.
- Plan, execute and monitor financial systems projects including the deployment of patches, updates, upgrades, modifications and enhancements for the Firm’s financial systems and related integrations.
- Design, develop, test and implement modifications and enhancements to improve system functionality and efficiency.
- Manage the financial systems support mailbox to resolve issues related to 3E and other financial systems, and track trends and develop and execute plans to proactively address them.
- Manage and optimize the downstream and upstream integrations between financial systems and other key business applications.
- Act as liaison between the Finance department and internal/external information technology stakeholders (i.e. information security and third-party consultants) to support the Firm’s financial systems interfaces and other relevant applications.
- Execute key tasks in the Firm’s month-end financial system close process including generating and validating proformas, preparing month-end reports and reconciling monthly WIP, A/R and GL balances.
- Support the development of a roadmap for patches, upgrades, and other major system initiatives.
- Maintain documentation on financial operation setups and master files.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience working with legal finance software, ideally in a professional services environment. Experience with Elite 3E preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with Windows Server including strong understanding of the operating system and administrative tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency with SQL. Elite 3E SQL data schema and advanced query writing preferred.
- Ability to independently resolve financial systems issues and to keep up to date on key developments.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server and SQL Server, sufficient to handle operational issues as they arise.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and daily operational activities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to simplify complex issues for business leadership and legal personnel.
- Ability to provide quality client service both internally and externally. Requires patience, creativity, intellectual curiosity, and discretion.
Education
The position requires a Bachelor's degree in information science, accounting, finance, or business. Equivalent training and experience in the legal industry may be considered as a substitute for a degree.
Experience
The position requires a minimum of five (5) years of related experience.

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. The pay range for this position is $90,000 – $130,000. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. Other benefits include healthcare, vision, dental, retirement, and all-purpose leave. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
