The Marketing Technology and Engineering team is part of the centralized Marketing Operations organization. Our mission is to provide tools, technical stewardship, and governance across the global Marketing organization – enabling marketers to drive world-class creative and campaigns that connect users with the magic of our products. We achieve this mission by working across product areas to address marketer pain-points, enable shared processes and technical infrastructure, and deliver secure, privacy-first marketing platforms in partnership with our cross-functional stakeholders and engineering partners.

You’ll use your program management and operational skills and expertise to bring our extensive strategic plan to life.
Working closely with Marketing Technology Manager for the internal product, Marketing Garage, you will unlock new ways of working and enable us to expand our operational programs to deliver an exceptional marketer experience for our end-users. You'll partner with stakeholders to drive the selection and implementation of new Marketing technology programs and platforms, while designing processes for Marketers to adopt these new capabilities once they launch.
You will build bridges and connection points across teams including Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Legal and other partners. You thrive in fast-paced team environments and are comfortable pivoting between multiple projects. Problem-solving comes naturally and your ability to build consensus is a key strength to your success.
Preferred Qualifications (PQs)
The PgM should understand the following concepts:
The web development process and lifecycle
- How static websites and generated
- Working with Google applications to build websites/web apps, such as App Engine and Static Content Service
- Front end component design and development
- Familiarity with web design and Figma design software (from a PgM pov, not user)
- Familiarity with using content management systems to input and update content
- Familiarity with content migration and/or localization workflows
- Familiarity using bug ticketing systems to drive workflows
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, GTM tagging
Key Program Management requirements include: Defining a scaled rollout plan and template for teams to follow, including projected timelines, a step by step process guide, and understanding of the resource required to complete
- Working with Google website owners to communicate the benefits of the new CMS, answer their questions and guide them through the onboarding process
- Overseeing the training and onboarding process, making adjustments to content as needed to ensure a smooth onboarding process
- Ability to brief agency design teams and developer teams on requirements for new modules, including use cases, acceptance criteria, etc.
- Managing QA
- Overseeing website migrations which includes:
- Working with teams to replicate designs leveraging a central figma design file
- Partnering with Website owners to present the designs, noting where designs are different, and where custom module development may be required
- Managing the process with offshore teams to get the modules built into the Brightspot CMS, including getting content migrated into the new design layouts
- Intaking issues or bugs that teams are experiencing and ensuring they are understood, triaged to the right teams, and addressed inline with our agreed SLAs.
- Stakeholder skillsThe PgM resource should have experience and comfort with talking to website owners and marketing resources that are less technical, as well as the ability act as the go-between, talking to developers to ensure requirements are clearly understood
The hourly pay rate for this position is $75 - 80 hr. Benefits available to full-time employees: medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401k and commuter benefits.
