About the Role:
EAM is seeking an Investment Analyst to be part of our established investment team. This position will support the analytical and informational needs of the investment team in various ways including portfolio analytics & risk reporting, assisting with stock research, monitoring current portfolio holdings, analyzing performance, etc. The Investment Analyst will also help effectively communicate our investment approach and portfolio characteristics across other areas of the organization, including assisting with client deliverables such as reporting, RFP’s and ad hoc analysis.
This role is critical to our firm's success, and we seek a dedicated investment professional passionate about building a long-term career. The opportunity is for an ambitious candidate who is eager to gain experience and grow alongside senior analysts, portfolio managers, and executives.
- Location: EAM’s office in either Solana Beach, CA or Spokane, WA
- Full-time, expected to be in the office most days
Qualifications:
- 1-5 years of experience in the investment industry either through internships or full-time work preferred
- Solid conceptual understanding of investments and interest to develop strong financial analysis skills
- Superior analytical and quantitative skills, coupled with good judgment and qualitative insight
- Team-oriented individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and the initiative to accept increasing responsibility
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines
- Ability to take initiative and work independently to drive various projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Factset or other financial software is a plus
