Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Agile Champion to lead scrum teams, drive Agile practices, and support cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
- 3+ years of experience as an Agile Champion, leading Agile, Scrum, or rapid application development teams.
- CSM, PMP-ACP, or equivalent certification is required; SAFe Agilist certification is a plus.
- Experience with Rally Agility management tools and the SAFe framework preferred.
- Financial Services experience is essential.
- A technical background is preferred to help remove impediments, though coding skills are not required.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, including senior leadership.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment), and Agile/Lean/SAFe principles.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Agile events to help the engineering team deliver value incrementally, embedding Agile practices within the team.
- Support Program Increment (PI) execution and collaborate with the RTE to achieve PI objectives.
- Assist product owners with backlog refinement and readiness, define "ready/done" criteria, and write user stories.
- Coordinate across teams (Agile Release Train/Release Train Engineer) to identify and address gaps, impediments, risks, and dependencies.
- Track, discuss, and resolve cross-team dependencies, taking ownership when necessary.
- Manage delivery effectiveness metrics to monitor progress and drive continuous improvement.
- Advocate Agile at Scale Values and Principles, fostering a culture of trust, leadership, and continuous learning.
- Ensure compliance with SDLC standards, data integrity, and Agile Management tools.
- Influence team members and engage Agile Coaches to drive change without direct authority.
- Lead 3-4 scrum teams within the organization.
