Cybernetic Search have partnered with one the top names in Engineering, Procurement and Construction, who are seeking a Engineer level 4 or a supervisor level candidate with physical substations for partnered projects with major Utilities and Renewable Energy organizations.
Responsibilities:
- If applying for the supervisor position you will lead a team of 4-6 engineers and designers
- Advanced understanding of substation design to include equipment arrangements, lightning protection, grounding, lighting etc.
- Create and improve processes for substation physical design project scopes, estimates, budgets, and schedules for substation projects
- Create QA/QC checklists to improve physical designs for utility stations through 500kV, including substation arrangements, sections, and elevations, foundation and grading plans, lighting plans and details, fence plans and details, grounding plans and details, rigid bus designs, strain bus designs, below grade designs to include duct banks and cable trenches, bus and equipment support structures, as well as a fundamental understating of circuit arrangements into and out of a substation
Qualifications:
- 8+ years’ electrical engineering experience
- 3+ years in substation design
- Bachelor’s degree from an EAC/ABET accredited Engineering Program
- Licensed Professional Engineer
