The system software engineer is expected to collaborate with customer engineers for multimedia related issues and deliver outstanding products to the market.

Role and Responsibilities
- Bring up and verify the multimedia functions on new platforms independently
- Implement and customize multimedia features
- Hand-on issue analyzing, triaging, and debugging
- Work with customer engineers to solve multimedia issues/requests
- Work with project management team to deliver software solutions to customer
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields
- 3+ year of C/C++ programming experience
- 3+ years of System-on-Chip (SoC) software developing experience
- 6+ years of multimedia firmware experience including camera pipeline, display pipeline, and/or audio fields
- Strong knowledge of multimedia firmware stacks on Linux, Windows or FreeRTOS
- Systematic problem-solving and effective technical communication skills
- Proactive and positive attitude to solve challenging and complicated problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related fields
- Python, and shell script programming language
- Strong knowledge of multimedia software stack including camera pipeline customization, secured camera, display MCDM driver, display interfaces (DP, DP tunneling, HDMI), and/or Audio DSP algorithm integration
- Demonstrated multimedia software development experience and hands-on abilities
- Ability to organize data points and consolidate conclusions and actions
- Customer interaction experiences and skills
- WebCQ, JIRA, git, and cross-complier experiences
