We are seeking a Concrete Superintendent for Civil Engineering with extensive experience in overseeing and managing civil operations, specifically in projects related to industrial tanks. This role is crucial to ensuring the proper execution of concrete work in the area of full containment LNG tanks. A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in heavy industrial concrete installations with a strong background in supervision is required.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Technical Expertise in Construction and Engineering: Deep knowledge of engineering and construction methods and processes, particularly in handling full containment LNG tanks made of prestressed and heavily reinforced concrete (ACI-376). This includes comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the fabrication and installation of jump/climb formwork systems, wall reinforcement prefabrication and installation, prestressing ducts, and installation of anchors and embeds.
- Post-Tensioning Competence: Detailed knowledge of both vertical and horizontal post-tensioning works, including strand installation, tensioning, and grouting. PTI Level 1/2 certification is preferred.
- LNG Tank Construction Knowledge: Experience in the sequence of works for full containment LNG tanks, including internal concrete layers, prefabricated concrete support rings, bottom and wall insulation, outer tank carbon steel lining, inner tank erection, top tank installation works, and external structures of tank walls.
- Safety and Procedures: Familiarity with lockout and tagging requirements in industrial work sites.
- Direct Hire Experience: Strong track record in heavy industrial construction projects, supervising direct hire work teams.

Location and Availability:
The project is located on the west coast of the Port Arthur Canal in Jefferson County, Texas. Candidates must have full availability to work on-site, as this is a long-term project.
