Job Summary:
The Marketing Event & Campaign Specialist will play a pivotal role in orchestrating impactful marketing events and help to develop innovative campaigns. This dual-function role involves planning and executing events that promote our travel experiences, as well as implementing and managing marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, creative thinking, and a keen understanding of both event planning and campaign strategies.
Primary Functions:
- Event Planning and Execution: Design, plan, and execute various marketing events such as trade shows, travel expos, customer appreciation events, ensuring all logistical aspects are managed effectively.
- Campaign Development and Management: Develop and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels to support brand objectives and drive engagement.
- Vendor and Venue Coordination: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors and venues to ensure the smooth operation of events and successful delivery of campaign materials.
- Campaign Tracking and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights to optimize future efforts and improve ROI.
- On-Site Event Management: Oversee the execution of events on-site, managing logistics, coordinating with team members, and addressing any issues that arise during the event.
- Stakeholder Communication: Liaise with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and product departments, to align event and campaign objectives with overall company goals and ensure cohesive strategies.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or any combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Demonstrates creativity and attention to detail
- Exceptional project management and organizational skills
- Knowledgeable with B2B and B2C marketing campaigns
- Proficient in multi-tasking across marketing campaigns and events
- Advanced understanding of current marketing trends
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
