Job Summary: The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will spearhead the development, planning, and implementation of an innovative IT strategy that aligns with our company’s business objectives, maximizes return on investment, and ensures top-notch security.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Oversee projects and assignments within the Information Systems (IS) department.
- Lead the team to ensure timely modernization and upgrades of IS.
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the executive team to leverage IT in achieving business and financial goals.
- Identify emerging IS developments and technologies; anticipate and plan for organizational changes.
- Ensure IT and network infrastructure support the company’s computing, data processing, and communication needs.
- Develop and manage the IT budget.
- Communicate company goals, projects, and timelines to the department; strategize execution plans.
- Establish long-term IS needs; develop strategies for system development and software/hardware acquisition.
- Serve as the top-level contact for end users to determine IS requirements and solutions.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Strong ability to conceptualize long-term business goals and develop orderly processes to achieve them.
- Exceptional managerial skills.
- In-depth understanding of information technology and systems.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in information systems and technology administration
