Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams of Technical Architects, Developers, QA professionals, and Business Analysts to achieve project objectives and exceed client expectations.
- Mentor and inspire your team, fostering a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, with a strong focus on application and software development, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Own project planning and execution, developing detailed project schedules, budgets, and status reports, and ensuring alignment with business and technical goals.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, and manage sprints, backlogs, and work items using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
- Serve as the primary client contact, ensuring that their needs are met, and expectations managed through clear and consistent communication.
- Perform hands-on business analysis, gathering requirements, conducting stakeholder interviews, and ensuring that business needs are translated into actionable technical deliverables.
- Collaborate with Technical Architects to ensure project designs align with both business objectives and technical standards.
- Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with industry trends and emerging technologies and applying this knowledge to provide strategic direction for projects.
- Implement quality control and risk management strategies to ensure that all deliverables meet the required standards and potential challenges are proactively addressed.
Required Skills / Qualifications:
- 8+ years in IT Project Management, with a focus on application/software development in an Agile (Scrum) environment.
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, IT, Business or related
- Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring high performance and alignment with project goals.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps, managing user stories, epics, sprints, and Agile metrics such as burndown charts.
- Strong ability to perform business analysis, ensuring that projects align with both business and technical objectives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success managing project budgets over $1M, overseeing the entire SDLC, and delivering projects on time and within scope

- Oil and Gas industry experience
- Consulting experience
- PMP certification
- Prior hands-on development or coding experience
