Electrical Maintenance Technician
Shift: Full Time (2nd shift, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM)
Location: Cuyahoga Falls, OH
Pay: $28-35/hour, based on experience
We are seeking a talented Maintenance Technician to join our team. Our client provides a supportive and rewarding environment that values your skills and commitment. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production machinery and facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a range of machinery and electrical/mechanical equipment including extruders, mixers, injection molders, feeding/loading systems, rotary cutters, and dryers. Strong background in electrical is required. Experience with plastic injection molding is ideal.
- Repairing and maintaining machinery according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications.
- Observing mechanical devices in operation to locate causes of trouble.
- Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on all machinery, equipment, and buildings.
- Operating and understanding all equipment necessary for completing assigned tasks.
- Ensuring operation of machinery by completing maintenance requirements.
- Maintaining communication with other departments, management, and employees regarding production efficiency.
- Installing and testing all new equipment and auxiliary equipment.
- Recording data on service, labor hours, and maintenance activities.
- Reading and interpreting technical procedures, electrical schematics, and service manuals.
- Completing work orders in a timely manner with high-quality standards.
- Analyzing data and performing mathematical calculations.
- Ensure strict adherence to quality and safety protocols, including wearing appropriate PPE, maintaining a clean and organized work area, and contributing to safety goals.
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on machinery and facility systems to prevent downtime.
- Actively use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to record task details, parts usage, and labor time on work orders.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Seeking 5 years of industrial maintenance experience. Formal training is a plus.
