Apex Systems is supporting a Fortune 200 company out of Cleveland Ohio with a Domain Architect DevOps role. The Lead Domain Architect role is responsible for integrating leading technologies in the design of complex technology solutions within the Quality Engineering domain while considering business goals, technical feasibility, and long-term scalability. They will provide strategic direction, training, and mentoring to various stakeholders across the business in the Quality Engineering domain and harness the value of automated testing in the use of modern AI/ML and Low Code solutions for addressing the Quality needs of the various functional areas. The role will lead the architecture and development of solutions aligned with the overall business and Quality engineering strategy and roadmap, ensuring business functional outcomes are achieved and the architectural runway is in place at the functional level.
Must Haves:
- 10+ years of experience in the Quality Engineering domain and designing solutions
- Experienced in designing and architecting Quality Engineering solution and complex systems at the functional or enterprise level
- Expertise in technology integration and the design of interfaces between systems
- Expertise in Software Development Lifecycle Methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
- Experienced in working with enterprise application integration and service-oriented architecture
- Extensive knowledge of existing and emerging enterprise architecture principles, policies, standards, and frameworks
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Nice to haves:
- Adoption of low code or no code testing framework pilot POC, or implementation frameworks
Required Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or in lieu of a degree, at least 13 years of experience in IT
