Role: PMS Project Coordinator
Duration: 6 month contract + extensions
Location: remote working CST
PURPOSE:
We are looking for a PMS Deployment Coordinator to join our Global Property Management team to deploy and onboard Oracles Opera Cloud PMS system to our global branches.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
The PMS Deployment Coordinator is critical in supporting our global hotels and regional/corporate teams to prepare for and execute the complete migration from Opera v5.6 to Opera Cloud. This position will primarily be responsible for planning, prioritization, tracking and other tactical activities associated with assigned groups of hotels.
• Coordination of implementation checklists & processes to assist and guide hotels through pre-, mid-, and post-implementation during their assigned deployment wave.
• Coordination of webinars, trainings, and touch-base calls; including participant registration, follow-up, guidance and generating completion reports.
• Monitoring each deployment waves overall project progress, identifying risks or issues, and implementing mitigation strategies to ensure the on time and successful completion of the deployment.
• Monitoring and organizing shared communication channels; including providing efficient and accurate replies as required or assigning an appropriate deployment or support lead.
• This position will collaborate and organize between internal and external teams (Deployment Leads, Adoption Leads, Technical Teams, and 3rd party vendors) by executing plans, meeting deadlines, coordinating timelines and efforts, and operating under tight time constraints.
• Ability and willingness to operate in a fast-paced, complex system/global corporate environment.
• Ability to support change management effectively.
• Ability to develop and deliver training materials, implementation processes, checklists, and presentations.
• Ability to be flexible with working hours to account for the project's global scope.
• Travel for team meetings or on-boarding may be required, but no more than 5% of the time and based on needs.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Implementing large scale technology systems.
• Quality critical thinking, decision-making and planning skills required.
• Detail-oriented.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize conflicting demands and responsibilities.
• Experience in the hotel industry is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years involved in a dynamic team environment.
• Technically skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Smartsheet Experience.
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma, or relevant experience
