Blacklock Financial are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cross - Functional Associate to join a strong, mid market generalist firm. You will have exposure to Restructuring, Consulting and M&A with the opportunity to work on challenging and impactful projects, collaborating with experienced professionals to drive positive change and deliver measurable results for clients.

Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Analysis: Conduct thorough financial, operational, and strategic analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring opportunities.
- Due Diligence: Lead and support due diligence efforts, including financial modeling, market research, and risk assessment.
- Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models to evaluate transaction scenarios, synergies, and restructuring impacts.
- Presentation: Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to senior management and stakeholders, summarizing findings and recommending strategies.
- Integration Planning: Support the development and execution of integration plans for acquired entities or business units undergoing restructuring.
- Market Research: Monitor and analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with legal, tax, and operational teams to ensure comprehensive evaluation and execution of transactions and restructuring initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial advisory, restructuring, investment banking, or management consulting, preferably with exposure to turnaround and restructuring engagements.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modelling, valuation techniques, and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and team members at all levels.
- Proactive attitude with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
