Title: Roving Lease Consultant
Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 8am-5pm
Location: Various Properties in and around the Portland Metro Area
Compensation: $19-22/hr
SUMMARY
The Roving Leasing Consultant markets and leases apartments as well as assists with resident relations. Also, assures that the office, lobby and clubhouse are organized and clean. This job description reflects the principal functions, knowledge and skills required. The Leasing Consultant must perform all tasks that management determines are essential to the operation of the company and appropriate for this position. This position will have a set schedule to operate out of three separate properties; Tigard on Wednesday, Raleigh Hill Thursday & Friday, and downtown Portland near Providence Park on Saturday & Sunday.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leases apartments to prospective residents, including initial meeting, tours, screening applications, scheduling and monitoring move-ins and move-outs. This may include weekend work.
- Manages online advertising for communities that do not have an Assistant Manager and assist with marketing campaigns.
- Administers work orders and turnovers.
- Provides customer service to residents.
JOB DUTIES
- Learns and executes effective leasing skills.
- Meets leasing quota.
- Handles resident issues regarding billing, maintenance, complaints or any other topic. Consults with Community Manager as necessary.
- Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and Oregon Landlord-Tenant laws.
- Manages own time by prioritizing tasks and schedule.
- Stays current on market conditions. Understands how own property compares to competition.
- Assists Community Manager in organizing resident events.
- Maintains filing system.
- As part of the leasing process the Leasing Consultant will obtain, record and keep confidential financial information and identification from applicants. This includes but is not limited to: social security numbers; driver's licenses; bank accounts; credit card information; checks; and paystubs.
