Are you a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project portfolio management within the metals industry? We're seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager who will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders. In this role, you'll oversee portfolios exceeding $1MM, ensuring project profitability, quality, safety, and client satisfaction while managing resources, scope, schedule, and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project execution and instill confidence in clients through leadership and organization.
- Manage project financials, pricing, cash flow, and negotiate contracts.
- Monitor project costs and ensure profitability, while developing solutions for any variances in scope, budget, or schedule.
- Collaborate on safety, contract, and liability topics, ensuring projects adhere to all requirements.
- Develop and review project management documents including scope, costs, schedules, and communication plans.
- Drive business development efforts, build strong client relationships, and expand the portfolio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
- 15+ years of project portfolio management in the metals industry.
- Strong experience with A/E, EPCM, or Design Build engineering models.
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and project planning skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office; highly organized with strong attention to detail.
This role requires the ability to travel to client sites and occasional car or air travel to other locations. Hybrid work schedule with 3 days/week in office required.
