Our Client, a specialty contractor in barriers and markings is seeking to add a HR Consultant to their leadership team. This role will work ONSITE in Pewaukee, WIand will workstandard hours M-F. This is a full-time role that maintains a leadership seat in assistance to the President for all things HR. This role pays in the $80K - $110K range based on experience and includes a quarterly discretionary bonus program. The key to this role is prior experience in the construction or skilled trades arena. This role also offers strong benefit package – Health, Dental and Vision covered at 80% - and a 401K plan that sees a 20% reinvestment in the employee.
The key to this role is past collaboration and consulting with a company leader/President to assure alignment of HR Strategies and business goals. As such, this HR professional needs to be able to deliver advice AND be a “doer” that can update job descriptions, organizational charts and company policies. The incumbent will:
- Ensure that talent management supports overall organizational objectives.
- Provide guidance on employee relations and employee programs.
- Play a key role in performance management plans.
- Deliver workforce planning to drive business outcomes.
- Take responsibility for overseeing new employee programs.
- Work directly with the President to assure HR strategy.
- Promote a culture of open communication and teamwork.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field.
- Experience in the construction or skilled trades arena.
- 5+ years experience working in an HR Leadership role.
- 5+ years experience with direct alignment to a senior leader/President providing HR consultancy.
- Proven experience in “strategic” leadership with a track record building a team.
- Exemplary communication skills.
