Our client is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to advance autonomy and real-time maritime communication technology. This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team in Hawthorne, California, and shape cutting-edge technology from the ground up.
You will develop a real-time data platform to process and analyze information from thousands of autonomous marine systems. The system must seamlessly integrate various sensors, hardware interfaces, and AI-driven analytics while maintaining military-grade security.
In This Role:
- Lead hardware design for maritime autonomous systems.
- Solve complex electronics challenges from concept to production.
- Collaborate with software engineers and autonomy experts to refine the technology.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop advanced hardware solutions, including PCB layouts and embedded systems for autonomous marine applications.
- Ensure seamless hardware integration with the real-time data platform.
- Lead hardware prototype development and testing and refine designs based on performance and feedback.
- Make key technical decisions to evolve the hardware design.
- Ensure all hardware meets military-grade standards for security and reliability.
Preferred Experience:
- Proven expertise in hardware and PCB design with a strong project portfolio.
- Experience with embedded systems and high-performance electronics.
- Proficiency in CAD tools and knowledge of defense/maritime standards.
