Job Description:
As a Wealth Management Advisor you will deliver personalized investment solutions to help clients work toward their long-term financial goals. Additionally, you will create financial plans and cross-check your work to ensure complete accuracy of information.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Guidance: Provide comprehensive financial planning for clients, addressing needs from education funding to retirement security.
- Strategic Analysis and Recommendation: Conduct in-depth analysis of client financial information to develop customized financial plans with suitable products and services to meet their unique objectives.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring consistent communication and ongoing review of their financial plans to maintain alignment with evolving goals.
- Client Acquisition and Business Development: Actively pursue new client opportunities, contributing to the firm's continued growth and success.
Required qualifications:
- A four-year college degree is preferred but not required
- You will be required to attain state life and health licenses, SIE, FINRA Series 7 and 66 exams (other designations is a plus)
- Results-driven, highly motivated, self-starter who possesses integrity, a strong work ethic and the desire to help others plan for and protect their financial futures
- Team player who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities, with a high degree of self-confidence
- Ability to draw upon past/present experiences and acquaintances to develop markets and sustain long-term relationships
- Ability to travel to Secaucus, NJ on a consistent basis
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
Training and Support:
- Exam Sponsorship: Equitable Advisors will sponsor your pursuit of the FINRA registration requirements as well as help you navigate state licensing needs.
- Comprehensive Training: Entry level training curriculum designed to empower you with the skills and tools needed for success in client relationship management, product knowledge, market development, role play and access to a full suite of remote-work technology solutions.
- Coaching: Advanced coaching from peers, managers and executive leadership
- Programming: Participate in local and national development programs and participate in joint-work opportunities for a hands-on experience.
- Management Opportunities: We offer management opportunities for those wanting to advance into leadership or just try it, in our Leadership Development School.
- Partnerships: In partnership with Columbia University, Equitable Advisors offers a Holistic Financial Coach certification within our specialized Holistic Life Planning platform.
Financial professionals at every level of experience are looking for continuing education and ways to expand their career by sharpening their skills. We encourage pursuit of professional designations including CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
