Job Summary: The Office Manager will play a critical role in managing the day-to-day operations of our office, overseeing administrative tasks, and maintaining accurate financial and member records. This role requires a blend of office management skills with a strong background in bookkeeping, ensuring smooth operations and financial stability as we work toward our organizational goals.
Job Title: Office Manager with Bookkeeping Expertise

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in bookkeeping functions where applicable
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals, and budgets for funders and stakeholders.
- Handle vendor management and office supply procurement.
- Collaborate with the executive team to ensure the smooth operation of administrative processes.
- Maintain employee records and assist with onboarding new staff and volunteers.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal financial regulations, especially regarding non-profit accounting.
- Support event planning and coordination, managing logistics, and handling follow-up.
- Work closely with external accountants or auditors as needed during tax season or audits.
- Ensure accurate membership records, assist in renewals, and collection of member dues.
- Coordinate and maintain accurate student enrollment and billing information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Office Manager, Administrative Manager, or similar role in a non-profit organization.
- Strong bookkeeping skills, with a solid understanding of accounting software and non-profit financial practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and problem-solving abilities.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Experience in handling sensitive and confidential information.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field preferred (not required).
- At least 3-5 years of experience in office management and bookkeeping roles, preferably in a non-profit organization.
