A globally prominent, multi-billion-dollar industrial manufacturing organization (Aerospace industry) seeks to hire a Specifications Supervisor due to a retirement. Reporting to the Director of Quality, this individual will direct specification and certification activities for the organization flagship production campus in Southern Ohio. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead application of specifications and activity for new programs.
- Provide technical analysis of requirements in support of sales, production, and R&D.
- Review and authorize recertifications.
- Develop and implement new procedures, policies, and resources within departments.
- Train and develop departmental personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- College Degree preferred (not required).
- 5+ years of specifications and certification experience within industrial manufacturing environment(s).
- Significant exposure to quality assurance and/or metrology principles.
- High attention to detail.
- Exposure to mainstream ERP platforms (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
