As a Business Intelligence Engineer on this team, you will get the exciting opportunity to work with senior marketing leadership to understand their business requirements and deliver solutions and actionable insight. Our team is serious about great design and redefining best practices with a cloud-based approach to scalability and automation. A successful candidate will be a person who enjoys diving deep into data analysis, discovering root causes, and implementing long-term solutions. You will help customize business policies and processes while developing new metrics and functionality.
Key job responsibilities:
Uncover trends and correlations to develop insights from the competitive intelligence analysis that the team does Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
Own, design, develop, document, and manage scalable solutions for new and ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, visualizations, and dashboards to support business needs
Own and develop queries and data visualizations for ad-hoc, recurring, troubleshooting requests and projects, as well as for ongoing reporting by leveraging SQL, Redshift, QuickSight and Tableau skillsets
Dive deep to understand frameworks utilized for storing data and different tools and solutions used to gain access to it.
Top three skills:
- Amazon Quicksight should be hands on and advanced
- Advanced in SQL queries
- Experienced in S3, Redshift, Athena
- Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
