Job Overview
Senior Construction Manager with expertise in site development, earthwork, and utilities coordination. The ideal candidate will also have a solid understanding of entitlements and possess hands-on experience in supervising building construction, especially within retail and residential sectors. This role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring smooth coordination between all stakeholders and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Site Development & Earthwork: Manage all phases of site preparation, grading, and earthwork, ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.
- Utilities Coordination: Oversee the installation and integration of utilities, including water, sewer, gas, and electrical services.
- Building Construction Oversight: Supervise construction activities for both retail and residential projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and quality standards.
- Entitlements Knowledge: Understand and facilitate the entitlement process, working with local authorities and agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
- Team Leadership: Coordinate project teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure seamless execution of all construction phases.
- Budget & Schedule Management: Maintain control over project costs and timelines, making necessary adjustments to meet deadlines.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid project delays or cost overruns.
