Alchemy is currently working with a well-regarded Moving and Relocation company based in Orlando, FL who are currently seeking a Local Business Development Representative.
This is a sales position focused on identifying, managing and recruiting partners in the local area, and includes auto allowance on top of salary and commission.
Responsibilities for the Local Business Development Representative include, but are limited to:
- Determine and focus on possible partners for referrals.
- Through phone conversations, emails, in-person meetings, and local networking events, reach out to possible partners.
- To find and qualify new leads, use cold calling, email marketing, and social media outreach.
- To grow your referral network, go to industry meetups and local networking events.
- Sustain continued connections with current partners by giving them regular updates and assistance.
- Keep up with local industry developments, market conditions, and rival activity.
- Complete in-home surveys and quality checks, offer quotes, and follow up on leads that need face-to-face communication.
- Other ad-hoc duties as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Experience in the moving and relocation sector.
- Valid driving license required.
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Great written and verbal communication skills.
- A desire to continue your professional development and career growth.
- Experience with Microsoft Office package.
- Ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team.
- Strong presentation skills.
