Financial Grant Manager

The Financial Grant Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the financial aspects of grant funding for the organization. This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and a deep understanding of grant management, including compliance with state and federal regulations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis related to grants, while also maintaining compliance with all applicable guidelines

Focus:
- Manage and monitor the financial aspects of grants, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations.
- Prepare, analyze, and evaluate financial reports related to grants, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with program managers and other stakeholders to develop and maintain grant budgets, ensuring proper allocation of funds.
- Oversee general ledger accounting functions related to grants, including reconciliations and adjustments as needed.
- Ensure all financial records related to grants are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with organizational policies and procedures.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to senior management, highlighting any areas of concern or potential issues.
- Stay updated on changes in grant regulations and accounting standards, ensuring the organization remains compliant with all relevant requirements.
Skill Set:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a closely related field is required.
- At least five years of hands-on expertise in financial record-keeping and performance analysis, with a plus for candidates having a background in managing funded projects' fiscal activities.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, methods, and practices.
- In-depth knowledge of governmental financial operations and regulations.
- Proficient in preparing, analyzing, and interpreting complex financial data.
- Well-versed in state and federal grant regulations, budgeting, and reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Experience in the health and wellness support industry preferred.
- CPA or other relevant certifications preferred but not required.
