Construction Coordinator - Hybrid (Pittsburgh, PA)
Scope of Project:
The Construction Coordinator is responsible for managing the job creation workflow, tracking milestones, and overseeing the full lifecycle of construction projects. The role includes administrative quality control, liaising with internal teams, handling exceptions, and ensuring milestones are properly tracked and closed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Milestone Management & Workflow:
- Create jobs in JT/Polaris and issue them to design teams.
- Track the entire job lifecycle and update milestones in JT/Polaris.
- Handle any exceptions to the project lifecycle and ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Reconcile jobs at the office level.
- Stakeholder Liaison:
- Serve as the point of contact for cross-functional groups (BOC, CPM, FPM, and sales).
- Provide project reports to next-level management.
- Resource Identification:
- Create and approve funding requests.
- Manage material resources and reconcile them.
- Research contracts and agreements, and handle funding requests and purchase orders.
- Oversee job estimates related to finance.
- Quality Control Workflow:
- Manage and validate field quality control processes.
- Pull reports and provide feedback based on report analysis.
- Collaborate with specialists and permit coordinators to ensure all milestones are met.
- Administrative and Milestone Quality Control:
- Follow the administrative QC checklist (materials, invoices, pictures, footages).
- Ensure permits are closed, final invoices are submitted, and all milestones are updated and closed.
