About the Role:
Job Title: “Data Center Construction Project Engineer
- The main function of a Data Center Construction Project Engineer is to direct and coordinate day-to-day activities in the field for onsite delivery of projects, regularly collaborating with key stakeholders.
- Direct and coordinate day-to-day activities in the field.
- Regularly collaborate and engage key stakeholders, including Land Development, Microsoft Security, Legal, Design, Construction, and Operations teams.
- Work with the General Contractor engineering team to ensure that construction details and permit requirements are confirmed.
- Work with the General Contractor engineering team to ensure that materials are reviewed, approved, fabricated, and delivered to the site.
Required Skills:
- Years of experience required – 2-3 plus degree
- Understanding of Data Center build/ construction
- General contractor / construction exp. 2-3 years
- Reading design specs and drawings – 3 years
- Procore, MS suite, computer literacy – 3 years
Location: Chicago, IL
Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $110,000 - $120,000 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
