Client is looking for a Software Engineering Manager ! You will lead a team of 5 to 6 direct reports. The role is 80% management responsibilities: road map execution, code review, manage code deployment process, people management etc. and the remainder of the role is hands-on.
The company has about one hundred software engineers spread across a dozen project teams. This role is responsible for helping the teams define their roadmaps, plans, and goals, stay on track to accomplish goals and help provide mentorship to engineers along the way
The ideal candidate will have:
- 8+ years in software development & delivery
- 3 + years managing engineering teams
- Fintech experience; ideally crypto but fintech and payments will be considered
- Strong leadership, experience with stakeholder management
- Strong hands-on technical knowledge: Front-end leaning/full-stack background: will need cloud w/ containerization
- Expertise in full stack systems built with Scala or Java (or similar) and React Native.
