We are in search of a Senior Business Development & Marketing Specialist to join the Corporate Department. This role supports the firm’s largest department and involves working closely with the Senior Department Marketing Manager, Department Chairs, and Practice Group Leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a deep understanding of the Department’s practice groups, attorneys, competition, and client base.
- Support the creation and execution of business development initiatives, programs, events, and strategies.
- Assist with RFP and pitch responses, including drafting targeted materials and maintaining the proposal tracking database.
- Conduct research and competitive analysis on market trends, lateral activity, and client insights.
- Ensure the accuracy and relevance of marketing and external content, including practice group pages and attorney bios.
- Coordinate internal and client-facing events, including logistics, budgets, and communications.
- Manage e-communications such as department emails, and new attorney welcome emails.
- Monitor legal market trends and industry developments relevant to the Department.
- Assist with department sponsorships, including event logistics and collateral.
- Foster collaborative conversations within the department to enhance firm-wide initiatives.
- Collaborate with the PR team on profile-raising efforts.
- Draft content for external surveys, directories, awards, and rankings.
- Manage the firm’s database and software for client team activity.
- Assist with managing the marketing budget, including processing invoices and reconciling expenses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Legal or Professional Services industries
- Marketing experience in Private Equity, Joint Ventures, M&A, or Securities preferred
- Strong project management, communication skills, and client service excellence
The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000, with a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off, medical and dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance, 401(k), and a flexible work from home schedule.
