Training Development and Coordination Support Specialist
Our client is constructing a world-class LNG liquefaction and export terminal along the US Gulf Coast. They are looking to onboard a Training Development and Coordination Support Specialist to support their operations team from their Houston office.

Summary: Seeking contractor support for a minimum 12-month engagement to develop training content and provide training coordination services. The project aims to enhance the Operations training capabilities by creating training materials and executing a pre- pre-commission onboarding and training program.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement a quality assurance process for all training materials
- Create evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs
- Analyze training feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Provide recommendations for enhancing training content and delivery methods
Training Content Development
Develop online training modules, including:
- Interactive e-learning courses
- Video tutorials
- Quizzes and assessments
Create instructor-led training materials, including:
- Presentation slides
- Facilitator guides
- Participant workbooks
Hands-on exercises and activities
Ensure all training content aligns with adult learning principles and best practices
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather and validate content
Training Coordination
- Establish a training calendar and schedule for both online and in-person sessions
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to arrange training logistics (e.g., room bookings, equipment setup)
- Manage participant registrations and communications
- Track attendance and completion rates
- Provide regular reports on training activities and outcomes
Quality Assurance and Evaluation
- Develop and implement a quality assurance process for all training materials
- Create evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs
- Analyze training feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Provide recommendations for enhancing training content and delivery methods
EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, & COMPETENCIES
Basic Requirements:
- Proven experience in instructional design and adult learning principles
- Expertise in e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Familiarity with training evaluation methodologies
Preferred Requirements:
LNG or similar industry experience preferred
